Innovator 200
Pilot Scale – Internal & External Heat Exchanger
The
STT® system is a combination of patented processes and equipment
for the manufacture of specialty chemicals as well as generic and branded
pharmaceuticals. The Innovator® Series is well suited for pilot scale
production and process optimization.
The Innovator® 200 is similar
to the Innovator® 100, but with
a slightly larger volume and both internal and external heat exchangers
for improved temperature control. Like the Innovator® 100, it is
designed for early stage research through development phase efforts where
there is a need to quickly identify and confirm the validity of a reaction
as well as to obtain significant amounts of product for testing and client
evaluation. The Innovator® 200 was developed to minimize the amounts
of chemicals in the production system at any given time, so it is a good
choice for applications where the reactants are hazardous (explosive
or toxic). Even though the footprint is small, it has been constructed
using the same design principles that would be used for a commercial
system, and processes can be easily scaled to pilot plant through commercial
sized production output.
